There will be a two-day workshop on August 6-7, 2015, at the Waterfront Hotel in Morgantown. The workshop will be a collaborative effort between West Virginia Department of Education (WVVDE), Marshall University, and the West Virginia School Psychologists Association (WVSPA) provided at no cost to the participants. The workshop consists of DSM-5 diagnosing and report writing to ensure compliance with the proposed Medicaid changes, and autism assessment and evaluation with an emphasis on the ADOS-2. There will be a follow-up to this workshop at a later date to be determined.
There will be rooms held at the Waterfront Place Hotel for lodging. Lodging will not be provided. Participants will be required to make their own arrangements for lodging. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
